1. Who runs Maui

Maui is run by Juvena. There is no staff employed.

Maui started from Juvena's love for animals. She used to volunteer at the animal shelter Dierenasiel h'Onderdak in Bergen op Zoom. There she cared for different pets and saw up close how important it is for an animal to have a safe and familiar place. That experience inspired her to create a place of her own where animals feel welcome and at ease.

2. What Maui is

Maui is a small-scale dog daycare. There are at most 4 dogs per daycare day, so every dog gets the personal attention he deserves. Your dog gets plenty of room to play, to relax and above all to simply be himself.

No kennels, no crates: dogs never rest in a crate or kennel. Daycare runs on Wednesday, from 08:00 to 18:00. Overnight stays are possible on request, after an intro meeting.

3. Where to find Maui

Maui is based in Rilland, Zeeland. We share the exact address after you book a free intro meeting. Our location in Rilland is our workplace, not a fixed pickup or drop off address for clients.

We pick up and drop off your dog for free in Bergen op Zoom, Halsteren, Heimolen, Lepelstraat, Heerle, Woensdrecht, Hoogerheide, Krabbendijke, Bath, Calfven, Rilland and Kruiningen. Would you rather drop off or collect him yourself in Bergen op Zoom? That is fine too.

4. A day at Maui

We pick your dog up from you. At Maui he gets plenty of room to explore, to simply be himself, to play as much as he likes, and to rest whenever he needs it.

Throughout the day we share updates and photos with you. At the end of the day we safely bring him back home again, happy and content.

5. How to get started

You start with a free intro meeting. We get to know you and your dog personally. We would love to learn about his character, his habits and anything extra he might need. After that we check together whether Maui is a good match for your dog. On the trial day your dog joins in for a full day, so we can see how he feels within the group.

No surprises, no obligations at the intro meeting. Book your free intro meeting via https://cal.com/mauidoggydaycare/kennismaking. All contact details are on the contact page.
